Heather Angel's latest book is a beguiling natural history travelogue with stunning images of the varied landscapes as well as the associated fauna and flora encountered on her extensive travels off the beaten track in China.

Black and White HDR tutorial



Giles has just completed a black and white HDR tutorial for a 'bookazine' about improving Black and White Photography in association with Digital Photogapher. Out now in WH Smiths, UK. It walks through shooting for HDR and then processing with PSCS5 HDR pro and Camera Raw.

Kew is a World Heritage site and John Nash designed the
Conservatory in 1825 for Buckingham Palace. It was moved
to Kew in 1836.

Kew Wildlife Photo gallery


The diverse array of plants at Kew is a haven for wildife throughout the year. Heather spent most of 2008 on a voyage of discovery, often working at dawn and dusk. Over 350 images were finally selected to illustrate the book that reflects the seasons. Each spread is devoted to a specific topic with informative text and a relevant Photo tip. Topics range from Water babies, Leftover lunches and Alien invaders to Shady characters and Stag nights.
